Introduction to MortalCoin π₯·

Web3 folks (a.k.a. degens) love trading, competing, and playing games β and so do we. So we thought: why not fuse all three into a real-time PvP fighting experience?
That's how we came up with the idea of a game that combines the best elements of Mortal Kombat, Hyperliquid, and memes β turning crypto trading into an intense, competitive battleground.
π₯ Core Gameplay Conceptβ
1. Fighterized Cryptocurrenciesβ
We take the most liquid and iconic cryptocurrencies and transform them into stylized fighters β each with a unique look and personality inspired by its token community.
For example, $BTC
becomes a disciplined heavyweight champion, while $DOGE
fights like a chaotic meme ninja.
2. Real-Time Price Trackingβ
Each asset's real-time price is tracked using live WebSocket data from three major CEXes (Bybit, OKX, Binance) and averaged for accuracy and stability.
In the future, we plan to integrate decentralized oracles like Pyth, though oracle latency remains a challenge.
3. Round-Based Battles β Just Like a Fighting Gameβ
Each match is a real-time, 1v1 trading duel. Players enter a time-limited round and open/close long and short positions on their chosen fighter (crypto asset).
The structure mirrors fighting games β timed rounds, quick decisions, and direct head-to-head action.
4. Strategic Uncertainty and Mind Gamesβ
During the round, you can see your own and your opponentβs executed trades and realized PnL, but not their open position.
This hidden element adds layers of strategy, risk-taking, and psychological warfare β like reading your opponent in poker or baiting a move in Mortal Kombat.
5. Victory by Profitβ
Each fighter has a visible health bar that reflects their current trading performance in real time.
At the end of the round, both playersβ realized PnL is compared β the one with the higher profit wins the fight.
It's a battle of minds, timing, and trading skill.
